What is Wellness Coaching?

Wellness coaching is a relatively new approach, especially valuable as the mental health crisis continues to rise worldwide.

Unlike therapy, wellness coaching deals with things on a surface level. It’s ideal for people who may not want (or feel ready) to see a counsellor, but who could really use some gentle direction toward a happier life.

Wellness coaching helps build sustainable habits, greater self-awareness, and practical tasks that fit easily into your everyday routine. It’s not about relying on your coach long-term; it’s a short, stop-gap to equip you with the tools and direction you need to reach that desired happy space independently.

What services are there?

My approach is tailored to each individual while guided by the 5 structured pillars to keep you moving in the right direction.

We always start with a free 30-minute call to explore how I can help and check if we’re a good fit. Following on from this will be 1-on-1 Remote Zoom Sessions with 50-minute calls where we discuss what you’d like to work on, set targeted goals, and end with clear, actionable steps to keep you on track.

About the coach

My name is Samuel Kitchen. I am one of the three Directors of Brain Brand, author of The Art Of A Happier Life, and a qualified wellness coach.

My journey started at 10 years old when I began to severely struggle with my mental health.

Thankfully, with the right support around me, I made it through that dark part of my life and began my self-help journey in my late teens.

At age 25, I decided to use what I had been through to help others in similar positions.

After writing my book on mental health and establishing ‘Brain Brand’, I wanted to extend my impact on people’s wellness and mental health.

So at age 27, I qualified as a wellness coach and created ‘The Art Of A Happier Life Coaching’.

Based on the five key pillars in my book, this programme works at surface level with no deep-diving into the past. It’s a simple, gentle, current, and strength-based plan to get you on the right track toward a happier life.
